We like to Party and love finding new ways to make it a memorable spread too!! Now it is your turn – How To Host a Pizza Bar!
I love parties and I love the trend of any bars. You know like a candy bar or a mashed potato bar. I think party guest like it too because it allows them to add their own tastes to the party food. Last week I had the honor of sharing my ideas for the upcoming big game on a local morning news network. Amazing honor. More on that later, make sure you read my whole post, you will get to see me on TV! For now, How To Host a Pizza Bar?
Look it is easy and fun and with the help of the Family Finest Make – N – Bake Pizzas this party idea is SUPER easy.
How To Host A Pizza Bar Party
For my pizza bar party I used the Make – N – Bake kits along with some fresh veggies and toppings as well as some fun football themed decorations. These Make – N – Bake kits come with crusts, sauce, cheese, and pepperoni, perfect start to the bar. All have to do is set your oven to 450 degrees and it will be ready for those personal size pizzas that your guests make.
Before the party I prepared all the toppings by cutting up peppers, onions, mushrooms, chicken, avocado, and olives. About 30 minutes before our guests arrived I simple put all of the toppings into fun cups on our buffet table. People simply sauced and topped their mini pizzas and we let them bake for 7-10 minutes. Yum!!
Now, I love pizza but I wanted something else on the table too. I decided to get creative with some strawberries and make these chocolate covered strawberries into Strawberry Footballs. Cute right? This was another thing that I was able to prepare well before the guests came to our house for the party. I love things like that, prepare early and then have time with our guests outside of the kitchen!! To make these I simply made chocolate covered strawberries and let the chocolate dry completely before using white frosting to make football laces on the chocolate. Delicious!
Since I had some fruit, even if it was chocolate covered, I decided we needed a fun dessert too. But again, I wanted something I could prepare ahead of time so I could enjoy our party! Check out these Mini Football Cakes!! I found the new chocolate covered Twinkies and instantly thought they would make the best football cakes. I used the same white frosting to pipe football laces on the cakes. These were a hit with the kids. Yum!!
Here is one of the yummy pizzas that we made. Perfect size and a lot of fun for people. Did you know that more pizza is consumed on SuperBowl Sunday? Crazy! So instead of ordering pizza make it a fun Pizza Bar!! It will be a spread that your guests will love.

As I said earlier, I was able to share this fun idea on a local news station. When I got the invite I was thrilled! My best friend, Lauren, came with me and we made it a great day together. I left my house at 4:30AM and went to pick up Lauren. We got some coffee and took a drive to Colorado Springs. It was an early morning but we got to the station in plenty of time and made the Pizza Bar table look amazing!! I was super nervous but with Lauren’s help I felt confident and ready to share my ideas and my blog! Fox 21 Colorado Springs was so kind and willing to let us do our thing.
