It is that time of the year!! Time for me to invite you into our world of Elf on the Shelf! This year is turning out to be even more fun, Jude and Teagan are at great ages so every morning they are running out of their rooms to see where those silly elves ended up over night. I love it!
Elf on the Shelf: Ideas for TWO!
You may remember that we decided to invite two elves into our home, one for each kiddo. Even though we have two we are not hiding or posing them in different spots – they area always hanging out together. That makes it easier on us for sure!! Peppermint and Cupcake are “good” elves too – we haven’t explored the ornery side of our elves yet. Maybe in a few years. Currently, they are really helping us with behavior with Teagan and I am not afraid to say that! Bribing my sassy, threeanger, little lady is helping a lot!
Ready to see what our first week of Elf on the Shelf fun was all about??
Peppermint and Cupcake came with treats on the first morning! A snow covered donut Christmas Tree! Yummy breakfast for the kiddos plus they found our Elf Communicator! If you do not have one of these you NEED one! Seriously, the kids love that thing because they get to talk to someone from the North Pole every night! I love the magic!
Do you hide a pickle in your Christmas Tree? We do, and it is another fun game we play with the kids. Jeremy hides it every night and then they have to find it. They had a hard time finding the pickle one night so the elves helped them by sitting in the Christmas Tree right in front of the pickle!
It was cold out – Peppermint and Cupcake decided to snuggle up in the Christmas card holder for the evening! Super easy idea but adorable!
Sticker fight!!!! The kids love stickers so the elves brought some stickers for them but had a little fun first. Jude and Teagan loved this one! Such a cute idea that makes the silliness of the elves shine!
Oh Teagan’s eyes were amazing when she saw this one! Hanging around in the kitchen doing some gymnastics!
Some nights the elves are lazy and just end up near the stockings. This is a perfect idea for parents that cannot be creative after a long day! ha!
Having a party with our Christmas buddies!
And the new favorite! Minion bananas! This was a hit and I honestly do not know how to top it!! Time to start thinking!
Our fun has just begun and we are loving our friends Peppermint and Cupcake!
How are your elves doing? What has been your kids favorite “spot” so far this year? I need all the ideas I can get!

I wish these had been around when son was younger her would have loved it. Your little house guest sure are having fun with there adventures. Glad to see they haven't spilled flour baking or taken out all the toys.
Those silly little elves, always getting into mischief. They haven't hit our house yet, but these are some cute ideas!
I've been slacking in the elf department this year but these are some great ideas. I really need to step my game up this year!
I love these little guys! They are so busy this holiday season. I don't have any little elves, but now I am thinking I need to get a couple and see what they get up to!
These elves are sooo cute! I want to do this for my little girl!
I love this but Im so jealous. I have 4 girls one elf that hasn't moved in 3 days. Luckily my kids haven't found him either. I told them he went back to Santa because they have been misbehaving – and they have. A new " Girl " elf comes on Friday so maybe she will make an appearance Saturday
Love the Sucky Elf Mom
I see all these wonderful Elf on the Shelf ideas and they look really fun, and then I start to feel left out because we haven't brought one into our house yet. But then I know I'd just forget to move him anyway.
