Laundry, the never ending chore in our house. Honestly, I never thought being a family of four would result in so much laundry but as the kids are getting older, more active and in more “after-school” activities I am finding that our laundry room is becoming a well used area of the house.
Our laundry “room” truly is more of a laundry closet in our second bathroom. It is small space so we have had to really focus on good organization and creative space savers. To give our laundry room a little creative design I decided to make a Laundry Room Lint Bin that we mounted to the wall. This is a great DIY project that has allowed us to keep our space a lot cleaner and it gives it some fun wall decor too!

Looks great right!?! I love it!! It adds a modern touch to our laundry room and gives us some an easy way to get ride of that laundry lint that just keeps multiplying! I am currently trying to find other ways to make laundry even easier and enjoyable since it is something we will be doing for a long time!

So cute! I need to make one. Plus I like to save the lint to make fire starters for camping so this would be easier to hang on to this way! CUTE!
Yes, your lint holder does look great. I like it. My lint holder looks a lot like a repurposed kleenex box 🙂 Yours is much nicer! If you like to compost, lint is great for the compost bin.
I do not have anything that creative. I love this idea though because you can put right next to the dryer!
Never thought of something like this. It's super easy and looks great! Thanks for sharing! #client
That's such a great idea, and looks like something I'd pay a lot for at the store!
I love this adorable lint bin! I need something like this in my laundry room. Thanks for the cute idea!
That lint holder is a great idea. We just added a shelf above our washer so we could have more storage. Yes, laundry is never ending. 😉
I love this idea. We are getting ready to spruce up our laundry room.
How do you empty this?
You could put a small hole in the back and hang it on a small hook. Thats what i did. Works great
How do you empty this?
I made this. It came out super cute. I placed a grocery bag on the inside to make more convenient when emptying lint.( fold handles of outwards, but inside of bin, when full grab bag) no mess.
Love your idea. Where do you buy a literature holder and does it come in a smaller (shorter) size?
Amazon
Where did you get the bin from? I love this idea and am having a hard time finding this bin.
Where can I find this box? I love this idea.
I actually got mine on Amazon. Really cheap. I have seen them at Office stores as well.
How do you empty it? Do you or can you place a plastic bag in it? I love it and want to do the same for our laundry room.
They are also called "flyer boxes" that you use to sell your houses
I really like this idea! Your color choice was lovely too!
I love this idea, I am gong to do this for my small laundry room. If you are campers or have a wood burning stove or fireplace in your home. I make fire starters using the lint. Use cardboard egg cartons and put some sawdust or wood shavings in the bottom of each egg depression, then take some lint and wad it up and place on top of the wood shavings and stuff it in good and then melt old candles, crayons, used wax cubes, used b-day candles etc. and pour over each wad of lint being sure each egg partition is sealed off. Let cool and cut apart. Store in a lg. plastic zip bag. You make use of a lot of things that would be thrown away otherwise.
You could use a mailbox
I love this idea. quick and effective
really love this idea thanks for sharing
Wow this is so smart to do. My creative idea is putting a shelf above my washer so much easy I can find everything in 1 place.
No one has answered the question: how do you empty it? Does it slide off the wall or what?
Put grocery bag inside
