Egg Shell Splat Canvas Painting
Eggs – emptied
Washable Tempera Paint
Canvas
Directions:
1. Empty out the eggs. I did this by carefully breaking a hole into the top of the egg. Once there is a hole, drain the egg from the shell.
2. Wash the inside of the egg shells out with warm water. Return them to the egg carton to dry for a little bit.
3. Carefully pour paint into each egg shell.
4. Set up the canvas outside on the grass or an easy to spray down area outside. We put down big buckets and leaned the canvas’ against them.
5. Let the kids pick up one egg at a time and throw it hard at the canvas.
6. The egg should crack and splat paint onto the canvas. Continue doing this until all of the eggs are broken and used.
7. Let dry completely before hanging the Splat art up on the wall!
Currently, there are a number of yummy OREO Wonder Vault varieties at King Soopers, I really couldn’t pass any of them up; OREO Red Velvet, OREO Birthday Cake, OREO Salted Caramel and OREO Cinnamon Bun.
While I have thoroughly enjoyed all of these OREO Wonder Vault varieties my very favorite so far is the OREO Birthday Cake, I also thought it was fun that the cream inside matched the kids artwork!! Ha! Now that is artist flavor there!
When you are shopping this week make sure you keep an eye out for the OREO Wonder Vault and MILKA OREO Chocolate Candy Bar store demos at participating Kroger grocers 6/15-6/18. These demos will present Kroger-exclusive recipes, information on the newest OREO flavors, Limited Edition varieties, the new MILKA OREO Chocolate Candy Bar, fun facts about the history of OREO and Kroger, and much more! I am excited to see what info they have about all of their yummy creations!

I keep hearing about those MILKA OREO Chocolate Candy Bars, but haven't seen any near me yet! I will have to keep an eye out the next time I hit Target, I am sure they have to have them there and I just wasn't watching for em. Looks like you have some budding painters on your hands there! #EggArtists 🙂

This summer project with the kids looks like so much fun! And I totally hear you on hiding in the closet with a chocolate bar. Summer is rough but as long as the kids are having fun, so worth it! #client
This sounds like a lot of fun! MY friend is raising chickens and I be he would like to know about this game for when he has some extra supplies laying around. I know this would be fun for us adults too!
My little guy will enjoy doing this. I think I might even enjoy it if I don't have to be the one to clean up the mess. It would help pass the time by being outdoors.
Wow now this is super fun! I wish my mom would of let me doing something like this as a kid but this would of freaked her out. I love this idea cute theme for around Easter too!
I dont have kids of my own to do this with but i do have 30 messy brownies who woould love this craft! I think it would be good as a summer activity in the garden! Can I ask what you did with all the egg yokes? Scrambled egg for breakfast, lunch and dinner?!
We don't have those Oreo variants here. 🙁 I want to try the red velvet. It seems interesting. The milka oreo chocolate candy bar is also enticing especially for those who have a sweet tooth.
I'm not very creative so I never would have thought to use egg shells for paint, but this looks so fun. I can't wait to try this out with our granddaughters. And, for the Oreos, OMG! They look delicious. Going to have to look for these.
This is kind of cool. I know that my daughter would love doing something like this. Some how throwing eggs all over the place would suit her. I am just worried that as much paint would get on me as it would get on the canvas. Maybe I would have to invest in one of those rain covers for me if I were going to allow this at home. 🙂
oh, Oreos!! They look delicious.and, for the Egg Shell Splat Canvas Painting, I can't wait to try this out with my nephew.
