Abrams Books sent me the book to check out and is partnering with me for a giveaway! All opinions expressed are 100% my own.

We are a family of readers and book lovers.  To be honest, we could probably buy another car with the amount of money we have spent on books over the last 8 years!  TRUTH!  And guess what?  I am not upset with that large amount of money we have spent on books because both Jude and Teagan are avid readers, well advanced in their reading and truly do enjoy sitting down to read.  That being said, we are always looking for new series for the kids to enjoy.

The Questioneers Book Series

When we first heard about The Questioneers series we knew it was a perfect book series for Jude to jump into.  Jude is a questioneer himself.  He is always needing to know more and learn how and why about everything.  The first book from The Questioneers series is called Rosie Revere.  It was a favorite of Jude’s and I know by next year, Teagan will be enjoying it as well.  So, when we found out that The Questioneers Book 2: Ada Twist and The Perilous Pants was releasing soon we all were super excited!

We already met Rosie Revere, Ada Twist, and Iggy Peck. Now we get to join them for brand-new adventures in their debut chapter book series. Perfect to add to any family bookshelf!

The Questioneers series is a celebration of STEM, perseverance, and passion. Like its characters, Iggy Peck, Rosie Revere, and Ada Twist, every budding architect, engineer, scientist, mathematician, and leader, will become inspired to solve everyday mysteries and come to think more critically about their world. Most importantly, they will learn that despite inevitable difficulty in achieving success, they should always continue to “Read. Question. Think.”—and never give up on their dreams.

The Questioneers Book 2: Ada Twist and the Perilous Pants

When the new Ada Twist and the Perilous Pants book arrived in the mail Jude couldn’t wait to dig in!  Even though he had been reading another book he put it aside and started reading Ada Twist’s adventure.  By the end of the evening he had completed the book and guess what?  HE LOVED IT!

Ada Twist is the queen of questions. Like, why does hot coffee smell stronger than cold? What kind of birds live in her backyard? And, especially, why does her brother Arthur get so cranky when she borrows his stuff for experiments?

But Ada’s questions really come in handy when her friend Rosie Revere needs help. Rosie’s Uncle Ned has gotten carried away in his famous helium pants, and Ada needs some answers—fast! How high can Uncle Ned float? Will he fly off into outer space? And, most important, how can they get him down? With the help of her fellow Questioneers Iggy Peck and Rosie Revere, her brother Arthur, and some new friends, Ada Twist is ready to save the day!

The Questioneers Book 2: Ada Twist is available for purchase NOW!

We would recommend The Questioneers Series to those who are reading at a grade level of first through fourth (Ages 6-9).  For Jude these are fast reads but he thoroughly enjoys them.  Teagan can begin to read them but has a hard time staying focused as they are a bit longer books.
