How is this possible? How is it almost Summer Break? I feel like this school year went so quickly for us. I am sure there are some teachers who would disagree with me but when I think back to the first day of school it is hard to believe that we are now preparing for the last day of school.
Every last day of school we send the kids with a special gift for their teachers just to tell them thank you and to show them how much we appreciate them. As a child of two retired teachers, I am fully aware of how much these gifts mean to teachers. Over the years I have made sure that the gifts we send are gifts that won’t end up in a junk drawer in their desk but a gift that they can actually enjoy with their family.

While there are years that I go all out there are other years that a gift card is about as creative as it is going to get! For this year I decided to give the gift of a trip to the movie theater. This is a great option for anyone struggling to find any extra time to put together a gift. I know how crazy this time of the year can get.
Materials Need:
Movie theater gift card
White Card stock
Twine
Scissors
Tape
Microwave popcorn bags

Directions:
1. Print out the “Thanks For The Poppin’ School Year printable on card stock.
2. Cut out the printable.
3. Tape the movie theater gift card into the space provided on the printable.
4. Using the twine, tie the popcorn bag and printable together.
5. Sign the printable and give to your teacher!
