The kids are stir crazy, school is in session at home, the kitchen is in use non-stop and the weekly chores are becoming more like daily chores with this whole Stay At Home order! To keep the kids invested in their own space and on track with chores I decided to use this Printable Chore Chart and Reward Bucks. Chore Reward Ideas
Having the printable chore chart for kids is great but what my kids are most excited about are the Kid Bucks! It is a great way to reward kids for their work. I do not give Jude and Teagan an allowance and believe that chores should be something that every one in the family contributes to but as kids, they need some motivation! Here are some of the ideas I have for Rewards when they turn in their Kid Bucks!
- Extra Screen Time
- Trip to the Ice Cream Shop
- Stay up 30 minutes late
- Mom/Kid Date
- Rent a Movie
- New Craft
- Pizza Party
- Bubble Bath
- New Board Game
- Pick What’s For Dinner
- Pool time
- Paint nails
Obviously, a reward would depend on your child’s age and interests but those are just a few ideas I have had for Jude and Teagan.
