Well, another year of the Elves are coming to an end. I don’t know about you but the last few days are always rough for us. We feel like we are running out of easy ideas to surprise the kids every morning but we have to keep up with the Elf on the Shelf fun.
These are some of our favorites from this year that we were able to do through out the stressful busy holiday season. The last few of our visits will be some traditional things we have done over the years, this includes putting out our Santa plates and bringing the kids some new Christmas PJ’s to wear on Christmas Eve.
Elf on the Shelf – Simple Ideas For Two Elves
Baby Its Bright Out There –
Teagan especially loved this one because she is a sunglasses wearing girl. We decided that Peppermint and Cupcake needed a little sunglasses fun. Guys, this one is so easy! We just kept them on the couch and but sunglasses on them!
Minion Bananas Gone Crazy –
Oh the Minion bananas are a hit!! Simply use a marker to draw some fun Minion characters on your bananas. Now, make sure you leave the marker out near the elves so it looks like they are the ones that got crafty overnight. What is fun about this one is when the kids get to take the bananas to school in their lunch too!
Hiding With My Friends –
We have a lot of Christmas themed stuffed animals on one of our tables. We decided to hide the Elves in all of the stuffies. It was funny how long it took the kids to find Peppermint and Cupcake in the morning.
Elves Need to Learn Too –
My kids leave out all of their books – all over the house! On a night we were feeling very tired we picked up a book they had both been reading before bed and made the elves read on the couch too. SO EASY!!
Merry and Bright –
The Elves brought the kids light up Christmas light necklaces to wear to the Christmas lights at the Denver Zoo. We had to wait until they left for the evening because these silly Elves got all tangled up in the lights! Crazy Elves!!
Share your favorite EASY Elf on the Shelf idea your kids have loved so far this year. I am always looking for more ideas!!!

These are really cute ideas for the Elf on the Shelf. I have a friend who is a teacher and she uses the Elf on the Shelf in the classroom and it does help the children behave better.
Lol,so cute! Elf on the Shelf seems to be popular every year! I've seen some pretty funny ways people are displaying them. I may invest in one next year!
We have two elves. It is a lot of fun! The adults in my house even have fun with it! We don't use them for behavior as much as we do just having fun! Great ideas!
