Instructions

Homemade Oriental Salad Dressing

  1. In a small mixing bowl combine all of the ingredients for the salad dressing and carefully whisk together until completely combined.

  2. Make sure you whisk out the clumps of mayo before refrigerating.

  3. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate until chilled.

Applebee's Oriental Chicken Salad

  1. While your salad dressing is chilling you can begin to prepare the veggies for your salad.  If you are making your own fried chicken you will want to do that first.

  2. Rinse and chop the romaine, red cabbage, and Napa cabbage and mix together into a large salad bowl.

  3. Rinse and shred the carrot and add to the large salad bowl combining them with the lettuce and cabbage.

  4. Dice the prepared and cooked Crispy Fried Chicken into bite size pieces and add those to the salad.

  5. Sprinkle the almonds and chow mein noodles over the chicken.

  6. Top salad with the delicious homemade oriental dressing and enjoy!
