I cannot believe I am already writing another
book review.  What?!?!  How is that possible.  LOL!   I am on a roll!  Reading is getting easier now that Teagan is
able to “play” more.  Woot!

My goal for 2013 reading is actually
working.  I am pleased that with this
book I am at 6 books read for 2013!  My total
goal is 13.  Think I can do it?  I hope so!!

Three to Get Deadly
(Stephanie Plum Series Book #3)
By Janet Evanovich

My Review:
Another great read by Janet Evanovich.  This author knows how to keep me attached to
my nook, that’s for sure!  I read this
book in about 2 days, and I have already picked up #4 in the series.  Well played Janet!

Stephanie is a bounty hunter, not a good one.
As I continue to follow her adventures in bounty hunting I am wondering –
could I be a bounty hunter?  I couldn’t
be any worse than her right?
After a mishap with “reddish” hair dye I have
this great picture of Stephanie, outspoken Italian Jersey girl with a gun and pepper
spray in her pocket book, ready to catch a criminal!  Comical really.  Her main catch in this book is a “Good Ol’ Man”
that owns the local candy store.  His
story snowballs as she tries to do her job.
She finds herself being shot at multiple times a day at one point in her
hunt.  Something switches, she becomes
serious about her safety which means it is time for the black leather jacket
and pants…serious!  Uncle Mo has been
involved in more than just candy, you will be surprised at the findings.  And maybe laugh a little too.

Grandma Mazur wasn’t as present in this book
and I missed her but Lulu, an ex-hooker becomes Stephanie’s right hand lady and
I sort of like it.  Talk about a vision –
an overweight, crazy ex-hooker Bounty Hunter in training and Stephanie going
after criminals in the Berg.  Love it.  Stephanie needs all the help she can get. We
cannot forget Morelli though, and either can Stephanie.  She is hurt when she feels like Joe is pulling
away from her.  She cannot figure it out;
maybe a girlfriend, maybe she is getting fat, maybe he is bored with her.  Either way she had to figure it out.  The tense relationship these two characters
have keeps me reading.  I want them to be
together, yet I love the crazy love hate relationship they have.

Stephanie is committed to finding her criminal
and goes all in.  I am really enjoying
reading this series and I can feel Evanovich becoming more and more comfortable
with her characters as the series plays on.

My Recommendations:
This is a pretty intense book.  Maybe described a Chic Lit for the
mature.  Janet Evanovich doesn’t hold
back.  Sex, drugs, language and
blood.  Easy read that will keep your
attention.

My Rating:

I give this book a 5 out of 5 cupcakes.  Like I stated above, it only took me 2 days
to read this!  Deserves 5 cupcakes just
for that!!  Enjoy reading!!

What am I reading now?
Four to Score
(Stephanie Plum Series Book #4)
By Janet Evanovich

Happy Reading!!
