Monday March 2nd is Dr. Seuss Day! How are you celebrating? Do you need some fun decorating ideas, crafts and activities? Last year we had a perfect Lorax birthday party for Teagan which resulted in some great activities and crafts that you must try!
We decorated our tables with special Truffula Trees and they turned out great. This would be a great project for older kids and could be a fun way to decorate a bedroom too! So many color options!
My very favorite Lorax inspired activity that we did was the Lorax Flowerpots! This is a perfect way to have a craft that is Dr. Seuss themed that is also functional. Gardening is a great teachable subject to all ages. Our Lorax Flowerpots are happily housing some very big Sunflowers now! Fun!!
These next craft that we enjoyed at Teagan’s Lorax party was the Lorax Wreath! If I was a teacher, this bright and smile causing Lorax wreath would be in my classroom for sure!! It was super easy to create and it just makes me smile. Find out how to make your own!!
We adore reading Dr. Seuss and I have to say, Teagan’s Lorax birthday party was one of my favorites to plan and create – the colors and story are so bright, cheerful and fun. I hope that my kids choose another Dr. Seuss themed birthday party someday!
Enjoy your Dr. Seuss Day!!
