Disclosure: As a LeapFrog Mom Ambassador, I receive products, promotional items, and educational material to use and share as I see fit. However, any opinions expressed by me are honest and reflect my actual experience.

We are less than 50 days to Christmas people!! Yes, it’s true. This post is not a post to make you panic, instead this is a post to make your Christmas shopping easier. If you are in the need for toys for toddlers – I have two of them and they are even educational!! Bonus!! As a LeapFrog Mom Ambassador I have had the privileged of trying out two toys that have turned out to be two of Teagan’s favorite things to play with. The LeapFrog Number Lovin’ Oven & Scout’s Build and Discover Tool Set are the perfect educational toys for toddlers.

LeapFrog Number Lovin’ Oven:

When we opened our box from LeapFrog this was the first thing that Teagan went for. This adorable oven is so inviting to all ages but once we turned it on it was even more fun! Teagan is at the age where her imagination is growing every day so I love that this Number Lovin’ Oven because I get to see her pretend and talk to this oven with such character!

Designed for ages 2 years and up. Comes with 16 fun ingredients and so many ways to play and explore. The Oven talks, sings and gets number skills cooking through 30+ songs and phrases. After one sitting, Miss Teagan knows the songs and phrases and has such a fun time! The oven is not only a pretend kitchen for the kids but it teaches counting, sharing and parts of a whole too! When the age says 2 plus it totally makes sense because of the different levels of teaching and learning that can be done on this oven.

Teagan has played with this Number Lovin’ Oven for hours. I especially love all of the sound effects. Hearing her fry me up an egg is so fun! We have had some fun with her and really worked with her on her counting. The pizza has four slices so when I sat and played with her, I told her to cut me two slices and she could have the other two. This toy is made for sharing, there are two plates for easy serving too.

I would recommend this toy for anyone over the age of two. Jude, who is five, has played with it a lot as well. The best part about this toy? It not only teaches and is fun but it is a great size for storage and all 16 of the ingredients fit inside the oven! This mom loves that!

Scout’s Build and Discover Tool Set:

Who doesn’t love a good tool set? We sure do and then if you pair it with Scout the dog it is even better! Just like the Number Lovin’ Oven this tool set has provided many hours of play and learning for both of my kids.

Some facts about the tool set:

  • Designed for toddler ages 2+.
  • Includes 5 tools.
  • Easy to put together and take apart.
  • Counting & Measuring Skills.
  • Learning is built into songs and phrases.
  • Perfect size for travel!

Teagan has enjoyed carrying Scout’s house around with her like it is her purse too. Which is pretty cute!

Another month of great LeapFrog items! While you are out shopping for the kids on your list always check out the LeapFrog learning toys! You will find something for every child and every age plus it is more than a toy – it is Education!
