Another week with Peppermint and Cupcake have come and gone. Crazy how fast December is going. Less than 10 days and we will be saying goodbye to our little elf friends. Bummer. Keeping the creative bug for the elves can be hard, especially when both Jeremy and I have had colds or stomach bugs this week. No fun! But, even with those issues we were able to have a great week with some very excited kiddos.
Sharing our Creative Elf on the Shelf Ideas
Flying Elves! This one was a hit! Both and Jude thought it was so funny that they were flying on the fan. Such a simple idea to create too. All you need is some ribbon and you are set! Just remember to not turn on the fan! HA!
Bubble Bath! The cats like this one too – little marshmallow treats! Silly cats. We usually keep the elves out in the living room and kitchen so it took the kids a while to find them in the bathroom. Surprise!! Elves need bubble baths too!
Family Pictures. This is one of our easy ideas that we did when we were both not feeling so good. Peppermint and Cupcake wanted to be in the family pictures too!
Cookies! Every year we have our elves bring sugar cookie mix, sprinkles and frosting for the family to have a cookie baking and decorating day. The kids loved using the cookie cutters and we have some very beautifully decorated cookies for Santa now! Thanks Peppermint and Cupcake for some fun family memories!
Warning from the elves. Jude is 5 and Teagan is 3, the behavior issues are frequent in our home, especially during this busy and exciting time of the holidays. Over the weekend we had way too many “issues” with both kiddos so the elves decided to send a warning.
Star status. The elves made it to the top of the tree to keep a good watch on Jude and Teagan. Looks like they are putting on a dance show!
What a fun week. We are excited to see what else Peppermint and Cupcake have in store for us in the next few days!
What has your elf been up to recently??
