After a few weeks of the lunchbox routine we are feeling in the groove but there are mornings that my creative drive is super low. I have a goal of meal planning my son’s lunches just like we meal plan our dinners but there are times that my energy is low. Call it mom melt down if you will. But that doesn’t mean I cannot provide Jude with a lunch – the boy MUST eat!
I have shared some of my lunchbox ideas over the last few weeks but as I sat at work one day and looked at the clock and saw it was the time that Jude usually eats his lunch I wanted to hug him and tell him to have a great afternoon. Well, I couldn’t do that from my desk at work so I decided I needed to start adding some inspiring, uplifting and fun notes for his lunchbox.
I feel like these little simple notes will make him smile and feel good as he prepares for the afternoon at school. Also, when I decide to not be too creative and I just make a simple sandwich, these little additions make the lunchbox creative and special.
I decided to make six different notes, I am not going to use them every day so these should last for a couple of weeks. They were simple enough to create so I will make a few more pages as well. I was trying to think of things to say that wouldn’t embarrass him but help him have a good day.
I think they turned out pretty adorable!! I simply cut them and place them inside Jude’s lunchbox as a little surprise. Love them!! Cannot wait to do more.

Our favorite is the Chocolate Chip Muffins but recently we tried the seasonal variety S’mores – OH MY GOSH! Stocking up on those too!!
