I have hosted a lot of parties and gatherings and most of them end up perfect and fun but there are times that the stress of planning and hosting just takes over. This is not fun for anyone, especially for the hostess! I have always considered myself a planner which helps me pull off the holiday entertaining functions.

Adding creative touches like a taco bar, fun but easy decorations and a fun drink bar option takes some of the during the party work away from me the hostess. Plus, by adding these fun additions I believe my guests have even more fun at the gathering. The holiday season can be stressful and it seems like the hustle and bustle starts with Halloween and doesn’t end until we are well into the New Year. This holiday season I want you to enjoy your holiday gatherings even if you are the hostess because hey, you deserve it!

Add Sam’s Club To Your Party Checklist This Holiday Season

In all of my years of planning and hosting I have found that the best way to start out is by heading to Sam’s Club to pick up all of the food, drink and paper products needed for the party. When we host we usually go big which means Sam’s Club is a must. Look, we are all busy so make sure you try the Club Pickup option at Sam’s Club to help you manage your time this holiday season. Order online, and Sam’s Club will have everything ready for you when you arrive!!

I find Club Pickup and Sam’s Club to come in handy when buying beverages for gatherings. First of all, those items are HEAVY so having them there and ready for us to pick up is an awesome treat. But Sam’s Club also has a ton of great Coca-Cola® products that we always have to have in our home for parties. This includes Coca-Cola®, Sprite®, Gold Peak® Sweet Tea, Dasani®, and Diet Coke®! Plus, I am loving the cute Coca-Cola® and Sprite® Mini-Cans!! So fun for parties!

Create Your Own DrinCup Bar

Now that you have picked up all of your beverages for your holiday entertaining it is time to think about how to serve these beverages. For me, I love the idea of setting up do-it-yourself bars so I created this perfect DrinCup Bar with all of the Coca-Cola® products and some fun cups along with some markers and decorations for my guests to add to their cups for the party!

To set up this fun DrinCup Bar I set up a dedicated area in my kitchen just for the beverages. To create this fun space, I set the drinks out and even added some into a bowl of ice to start chilling. I found some holiday colored cups, fun paper straws and permanent markers in a rainbow of colors.

I set out a little note telling my guests to decorate their cups and to get creative. This is a great option so people are not sharing drinks accidentally. Plus, it adds a little fun to your gathering. Everyone loves to get creative every now and then.

This DrinCup Bar can be used for any holiday – think of all of the options we have coming up!! Time to PARTY!!

I found some cute reindeer clips that can also be used to identify people’s drinks. These little clips are wooden so names can be added easily. What is great is that hopefully your guests will take these home with them after they name their little deers!

Adorable right? I love these and found all kinds of options too – stars, presents, trees and even fall leaves. I am set for any holiday gathering now!

This DrinCup Bar can be set up for an adults only option too. Simply add your alcohol to the bar. So many options to make this part of your holiday party creative, fun and memorable for everyone!

Holiday Entertaining Tips

Plan and prepare the menu ahead of time. Once you create your menu you can figure out which dishes can be prepared a few days before the party. Pasta salads, casseroles, and dips are great options for this tip!
Do not over do the decorations. Believe me, I love decorations but they take up precious time and most of your guests will not even see them!
Ask for help. Have your guests bring a dish to share.
Create a buffet. This set-up style will allow you to set out all menu items and refill them throughout the party. Keeps you out of the kitchen so you can enjoy your time with your guests.
