Did you know that kids eat free at The Melting Pot? The Melting Pot is a great place for a romantic dinner out but also for a fun family night! Excited to share our experience as well as some delicious items from The Melting Pot menu.

Thank you to The Melting Pot in Louisville for hosting us to help us write this review.

Over the years, Jeremy and I have loved going to The Melting Pot on special occasions and anniversaries.  It is probably my favorite place to indulge and enjoy a nice dinner.  So good!  Last year our traditional Christmas Eve plans were changed so we decided to head to The Melting Pot with the kids before going to the Christmas Eve Candlelight service.  The kids loved it and have been asking to go to The Melting Pot for dinner ever since.  Now, let’s be honest, The Melting Pot is not a place you just decide to pick up dinner from on a busy evening.  The Melting Pot is an experience and something that has to be budgeted for.

Kids Eat Free – The Melting Pot

The Melting Pot is known for the romantic touches but they also want to make sure that your dining experience is a perfect time to reconnect.  This is why it is absolutely perfect for a family dinner.  This is not a place that you come into for a quick meal, this is a restaurant that will have your whole table chatting, connecting and cooking.  What we all want when we have a family meal.

What makes this possible for families like us is the Kids Eat Free promotion.  Yes, KIDS EAT FREE!  Recently, we were invited to the Louisville Colorado location to experience this promotion and I have to tell you, when the kids found out they were headed back to The Melting Pot they were ecstatic…and hungry.

About The Melting Pot:

The Melting Pot is the original fondue restaurant where guests can enjoy several fondue cooking styles and a variety of unique entrees, salads, and unforgettable desserts. But they are more than just a restaurant; they are a unique destination offering a dining experience unlike any other. This fondue restaurant is perfect for the everyday occasion, from a night out with friends or a romantic dinner with your special someone to a promotion celebration with colleagues.

Slow Down, Unwind, Unplug!

Our evening started with my favorite part…cheese!  It is so fun to see the kids watch the server make the food right in front of them and then try new combos.  Jude especially loved the granny smith apples dipped in cheese and Teagan was LOVING the carrots dipped in cheese.  Jeremy and I have always loved the cheese part of the meal the most.  So good!

When going to The Melting Pot, you have to be prepared to EAT!  The courses are big but know that the food is high quality and so good too.  For the main course we went with the traditional meat, seafood, veggies and pasta.  The kids were able to choose three options for their own plates.  This was great because our seafood lover Jude was able to get all shrimp and fish.  One happy kiddo.

While the cheese and chocolate courses go a little faster, the main course is where you really have to slow down and enjoy the company at your table.  The meats have to cook and while that happens it is a great time to chat and enjoy each other.  Again, another reason why we love The Melting Pot…the experience.

And dessert is served.  By dessert time we are all super full but who can pass this up?  Fresh fruit, decadent brownies and cookie covered marshmallows.  YUM!  While the kids loved the cheese and meat this was by far their favorite.

Just like the cheese options there are a number of different chocolate fondue options to decide on.  We went for the Flaming Turtle.  Again, the experience.  Seeing the kids in awe as their chocolate fondue is set on fire!  What fun!!

Think Teagan enjoyed it?  We all slept great that night after a great family dinner at The Melting Pot.  Delicious food, great ambiance and perfect family conversations.
