I will never forget the first time we felt completely violated in our own home due to others feeling that they could invade our space and take items of ours. Thankfully, we have never had any issues of people coming into our house, but we have had multiple experiences of people coming into our yards and taking items and messing with our property.
Let me explain our set-up. When we first bought our home, we were so excited to live right on the greenbelt that led to two different parks. We knew we had to do something that would not only make us feel safe having Jude and Teagan out in the backyard, but also give us some peace of mind when we are not out in the yard. While we have added a security fence in our backyard since moving in 9 years ago, having that extra secure feeling has me super excited for summertime!
We decided to add the Logitech Circle 2 camera to our backyard deck. With the 180 degree wide-angle lens, we are able to see our entire yard, deck, and garage door! Amazing!! We opted for the wire-free option so we didn’t have to worry about wiring on our deck. I love that the Circle 2 is weatherproof. While our roof will shield the Circle 2 a bit, we knew we needed a weatherproof option.

Finding that secure feeling in our own backyard is pretty amazing. Sure, we know “bad things” can happen, even on camera, but knowing that we have the opportunity to have those things on camera is reassuring. I want our backyard to be a sanctuary for our whole family, and simply adding the Logitech Circle 2 camera to the backyard has helped us all feel more secure and ready for a ton of memories this summer.

Easy To Install Logitech Circle 2
Everything we read said it was so easy to install. And guess what? It was! We got our Logitech Circle 2 up on our house – Wire-Free – in just minutes! I was not excited to have something added to our siding, but it was not invasive at all and can be easily removed, if needed. Not to mention, it is a great looking camera. What I love about this camera is that while we know it is there on the house, the people walking on the greenbelt behind us would probably just think it is a light. Small, but works great!
Once the Logitech Circle 2 was installed and set where we needed it, we simply connected the app on our phones and started to easily navigate the app. The camera really does all of the hard work for us!
Time To Make Some Backyard Memories
The kids are getting older now, and with the addition of our fence and the Circle 2 camera, we are feeling a lot more comfortable with letting them go out in the backyard on their own. Time to enjoy that springtime weather and fresh air!! We are blessed with an amazing yard, but for years we have felt like it doesn’t get used the way it should by Jude and Teagan due to that unsecured feeling.
A few weekends ago, we finally had some amazing weather and we kicked the kids out into the backyard and they had the time of their lives! RUNNING, PLAYING, SCREAMING! So fun! And while I was able to do the dishes and some laundry, I could still check in on them and make sure they were safe.
I am so happy that we added the Logitech Circle 2 camera to our home. Looking forward to adding a few more around the front of our house for some extra peace of mind.
