Two ingredients, a few minutes and only 2 Weight Watchers Smartpoints?  Yes!! This delicious Weight Watchers Dole Whip recipe will be a hit with the whole family this summer.

It is finally getting hot here in Colorado, in fact for the next week we are going to be in the 90 degrees!  Hot Hot Hot!  During these hot days the whole family is always itching for something sweet and cold in the afternoons.  One day last week Jude asked for a Dole Whip from Disneyland.  Well…if it was that easy kid!

A weight watchers friendly Dole Whip Treat

I decided that instead of heading to the store for some pineapple ice cream for the kids I would try a new Weight Watchers twist.  And guess what?  This was a much healthier option and the whole family LOVED them.  Sweet treats so easy to make and enjoy.

A Weight Watchers Friendly Dole Whip Treat

Ingredients:

2 cups pineapple – fresh or canned (no heavy sugar)
1 cup 1% milk

Directions:

1. If using fresh pineapple, cube.  If using canned pineapple drain juice from cans.

2. Add pineapple and milk to a blender or food processor.

3. Blend until there are no large chunks in the mixture.

4. Place blender in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to chill.

5. Serve within 24 hours for the best texture and taste.  ENJOY!

Looks great right?  When I first made this recipe I used chilled milk but it was not cold enough to be a satisfying drink on a hot day.  So we let the second batch chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to get nice and cold.  It was PERFECT!!  And it tasted so much like a Dole Whip!
