Browned Butter Pecan Toffee Bars

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup unsalted sweet cream butter melted and cooled
- 1 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup toffee bites
- can Sweetened Condensed milk
Instructions

Heat oven to 350 degrees and line a 13x9 baking pan with parchment paper

Using a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium to high heat

As the butter begins to melt, swirl the pan around. When the butter starts to bubble, let it sit for 3/4 minutes to allow it to deepen

Remove from heat and whisk in brown sugar

Allow the butter/sugar mixture to cool to room temperature

Whisk in the eggs and vanilla until combined

Gradually whisk in the flour, baking powder and salt

Scoop the dough into the baking pan

Top with the toffee bites, chocolate chips and chopped pecans

Pour can of sweetened condensed milk on top

Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes

Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars. Enjoy!
