Copycat Chick-Fil-A Sauce
I don’t know about you but I have been craving some of my favorite foods through this whole lockdown thing. I am pretty impressed with myself at how much I have been able to stay away from going to restaurants. I love going out to eat so it has been hard, and how many more dinners do I need to cook???
Now, full disclosure – I am not a big Chick-Fil-A fan, but I LOVE the Chick-Fil-A sauce. Give me all the sauce! So, instead of heading to Chick-Fil-A I decided to try to create a similar version to use for my chicken strips and fries while at home. It took a few experiments but I think I have the recipe perfect now!
Ingredients:
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 TBSP honey
1 TBSP yellow mustard
2 tsp Dijon mustard
2 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 tsp BBQ sauce
Directions:
1. Whisk together mayonnaise, honey, mustards, lemon juice and BBQ sauce in a medium bowl. Make sure you get all of the honey mixed completely.
2. Store in refrigerator in a closed container. Enjoy with fries, chicken or on sandwiches!
I would love to hear how you think this sauce tastes and if you think it is close to that delicious and well known Chick-Fil-A sauce. I love this dipping sauce and so do my kids. It is easy to whip together for lunch or dinner and I have all of the ingredients on hand! Simple and yummy!
