Clearly those giant burgers are not good for me but dang it…when the kids get those special Happy Meal treats I am more than likely getting myself a Big Mac. Well today I am sharing a way for us all to enjoy that yummy special sauce in a healthier way. This Big Mac Salad recipe combines all the deliciousness of a Big Mac in just 20 minutes and is Keto friendly if you are watching your carbs.
How To Make A Big Mac Salad
Looks amazing right? It is. And you will feel like you are enjoying that Big Mac burger without the guilt!
Big Mac Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
1 head of iceberg lettuce
2 roma tomatoes; diced
12 pickles; diced (more if you would like more pickles)
1/2 cup red onion; diced
1 bottle thousand island dressing

Instructions:
1. Place ground meat into a saute pan and cook until meat it browned. Drain grease.
2. Wash and chop iceberg lettuce. Place into a large bowl.
3. Dice the tomatoes. Add to the bowl and toss.
4. Dice the pickles. Slice pickles can be diced. Look for pickles that have a thicker slice. Add to bowl.
5. Chop the red onion and add to bowl.
6. Add ground meat to the bowl and toss with salad tongs.
7. Serve topped with thousand island dressing. ENJOY!

Now, I am not on the Keto diet but knowing the little that I do about the Keto lifestyle, I know that if I was practicing Keto I would miss things like a good burger so this is a great option for those either living the Keto life or those who are simply trying to cut carbs.
