Creamy Chicken Croissants
It is cold out there today! And when the cold hits I want some warm comfort food!! Nothing says comfort food like croissants and chicken soup! YUM!!! This yummy and easy recipe is the perfect meal to hit those comfort food cravings that will be a hit with the whole family. When I first made this recipe, I used it as an appetizer but over the years I have found that these are perfect for those crazy weeknights at home after a long day.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup onion, diced
1/4 cup celery, diced
2 TBSP butter
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cup cooked chicken (chopped or shredded)
1 can Campbell’s® Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup
Canned refrigerated croissants
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Open croissants and press two rolls together on the baking sheet.
3. In a medium mixing bowl combine onion, celery, butter, cream cheese, chicken and Campbell’s® Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup.
4. Use a hand mixer to create a creamy chicken mixture.
5. Place a heaping spoonful of the chicken mixture in the middle of each croissant.
6. Carefully bring the corners of the croissants together to cover the chicken mixture.
7. Bake croissants for 16-18 minutes.
8. Enjoy warm. Can be served as an appetizer or even a meal. Enjoy!
