A Simple Addition To My Deck
While my backyard is pretty large and I have done some updates like adding a patio with a firepit and sitting area, I decided I wanted to dress up the deck first and focus on that area as we move into having dinners on the deck once the weather changes. I have always loved the idea of twinkle lights, maybe that is why I set my Christmas tree up so early this year!? These Starbright Solar LED String Lights are perfect for this area of my backyard.

I had a pack of two Starbright lights delivered to my house and I got to work! The package includes 2 solar panels, 2 ground anchors and 2 string lights. The set-up and installation was so easy and I love how it turned out. I decided to put the solar panels below my deck – thankfully the cords were long enough for this and with the sun hitting my deck and backyard for about 7 hours a day, this worked perfectly!
Once I got the solar panels all set up in the right areas I started the stringing! The two pack of Starbright lights was just the right amount to do the ledge of my deck. I will need to buy another pack for the stairs eventually. The copper wire makes this process really easy. The wire goes around the posts of the deck and sits nicely.
It has been very windy lately and I love that the lights are not all over the place, the cooper wire holds them in place and I know this will keep them safe and working for even longer. After they charged and dawn hit, the kids and I waited for the beauty to shine! You can see from my pictures that it makes my deck so perfect in the evening. The charged lasted at least 8 hours!
