For years I have been sharing the kid’s first day of school pictures and even though I have been a little quiet lately, I could not go to sleep tonight without sharing this traditional post with you all.
2021-2022: First Day of School
Last year at this time we were starting the school year in my living room for virtual learning, while the kids are still wearing masks, I am so thankful that they are able to attend school in person! These kiddos missed their school family so much! Today, Jude started 5th grade and Teagan started 3rd grade….I cannot believe it!
Jude Is In 5th Grade!!
5th grade, this guy is gearing up for his last year at this amazing school he has called home for 3 years. My wish for Jude this year is to continue to enjoy this school and all of the opportunities his teachers offer him. I hope that we can continue towards a more normal school year so he can be the top dog as a 5th grader at school!
This will be a challenging year for Jude as two of his very best friends moved to a new school this year. I know this is going to be a struggle during these first few weeks but I have faith in this social guy to continue to build his other friendships into something even stronger! Jude is ready to learn and is really excited for the class musical. Fingers crossed there will also be an all-school musical this year!!
Teagan Jumps Into 3rd Grade!
This social butterfly is thrilled to be back at school. She needs her social time with her buddies. Teagan is also attending the same school she has been at since Kindergarten. While some of her close girl friends are in the other classroom this school year I know she will do great. My wish for Teagan is for her to continue to grow in her creativity and love for all things crafty. And just like Jude, I hope we can continue in a more normal school year so she can enjoy the in class experiences and friends.
Teagan had a great first day of school and she is really happy she got the teacher she wanted….same 3rd grade teacher Jude had! I am really excited for her to jump into 3rd grade, it is such a fun year.
Let’s Do This!
We enjoyed the first day of school celebration at their school this morning. It was so great to see the staff, other parents and all of the kid’s friends and classmates. I could feel everyone’s excitement for a great year! Here’s to a great 3rd Grade experience and a fabulous last year of elementary school!!
