This officially marks the end of my first week! Look at these results!
I am still here! For someone who always cheats on diets, exercise and meal programs; I am surprised and proud of myself! I made it through the 1st week on medifast and loved it actually! Talk about easy and seeing those numbers go down on the scale is also fun!
Friday’s are my weigh in days so last Friday (18th) I got on the scale before work and I was ecstatic to see I was 8 pounds down from the Friday before! Oh.My.Gosh!! 8 pounds in 1 week! This program is magic!
I won’t lie, I have had a few bits of “non program” food but that is better than eating a huge donut or cookie like I used to do! Lol Small steps! We even went out to dinner 2 times last week and I did stay on program! Salads all the way!
One of the biggest struggles I had this week was on St. Patrick’s Day – my agency had a soup lunch for the entire staff. So there I was with my Medifast soup doing so well and then the damn cookies, cake and brownies make their way into the lunch! Oh NO!!! Talk about temptations! So there I was enjoying the company of co-workers and I slipped. I had a half of a cookie. 🙁 No!!! But now that I look at it and see that it could have been worse – I could have had 2 or 3 cookies like I used too. But instead I was able to break a cookie in half and throw the rest of it away. Progress!
Here is what I am going to have to eat today:
Breakfast – Dutch Chocolate Shake
Mid Morning – Choc. Chip Pancakes (made into a muffin)
Lunch – Strawberry Shake
Afternoon – Vanilla Shake
Dinner – Tuna fish salad (no bread or crackers) with 1 dill pickle cut up in the salad with mayo and Cauliflower
Evening – Mint Choc. Soft Serve
(I am at home all day on Monday’s so I try to use mostly shakes since they are easier to do at home in the blender! When I at work I have bars, oatmeal and soup through out the day too)
