Last weekend Jeremy and I planned a night out of celebration for my little brother Jarrin. He finished chemo about 3 weeks ago and his latest PET scan shows that the cancer is not active! YAY!! He will start radiation as a precaution in May but HE IS DONE WITH CHEMO!!! It was a great night out.
First for dinner we went to a fantastic Brazilian Restaurant called The Rodizzio Grill. Jarrin was very excited (Jeremy too) this place serves you all you can eat meat! They just come to your table and offer you meat through out your dinner. Meat Man heaven!! LOL!
We all left there exhausted and full! But off we went for more fun at the Duelling Piano Bar in Denver called Sing Sing.
Jarrin up on stage singing and dancing to “I will survive!” Freakin funny!!
Having a good time with my baby brother! :O) We had a great night – not so great morning after – but it was so worth the fun and laughter!
In 1 week Jarrin will start radiation and by the end of May hopefully he will be free and clear and we can all move on as a family! We have all grown from this experience but mostly I have learned to be even more thankful for the small things in life – especially days with family!
AWESOME! I'm so happy for all of you and so glad that you had so much fun!
