Most of my long time readers have read about my Grandfather. He has passed on but I often talk about how much he meant to me and my entire family. Well now it is time to talk about another grandparent.
My Grandmother – Helen. Grandma has been gone for a long time; let’s see about 12 years actually. Wow that is a long time!!
She was a wonderful woman and I often wonder what she would have thought of Jeremy and Jude. I know she sees our little family from Heaven but I know that if she was here with us now she would love Jeremy and Jude to pieces. Especially Jude !!
Okay now on to the real reason why I am writing this post. Recently, my mom has been using a phrase that my Grandmother (her mother) used with my brother and I all the time.
LITTLE WOODEN EAR!
I know – funny. But it is so true. I swear this little 14 month old is already ignoring us when we ask him to do something or not to do something. This phrase sounds old but I am bringing it back!
I love my LITTLE WOODEN EAR, even if he drives us nuts sometimes.
So thank you to my Grandma whose memory will hold strong in our home forever.
What “old” phrases are you bringing back in your parenthood?

I like that. Very cute. I mean I do not have anything related to kids but I say things are boss or rad haha.
My grandpa had nicknames for me and my sister that I plan on using on my kids (because if my mom is right God will BLESS me with kids like me lol). So he called me jabber jaws 🙂
This is such a sweet post to write about your grandmother. 🙂 I wish I had something to comment about my grandmother but she passed away when I was 15 and I only met her 3 times because she lived in a different country.
I am your newest follower from the blog hop, TAT. 🙂
