Our Wedding: Part 2

Newly Weds:

We made it!!

 

Officiating:

 

 My Pastor was the one we decided had to do our wedding. This Pastor confirmed me so it was pretty special to have him do my wedding too.

Photography:

This is something that I wish we would have been more creative with – as you can see we were very traditional in our photos. Don’t get me wrong, I love our pictures BUT wish we would have been a little more fun! This is a picture of me that the photographer wanted because at the time he hadn’t shot a wedding with a bride that liked showing a tattoo! Oh how the times have changed! Lol

Question Popping:

Well I couldn’t wait. We talked about marriage early on in our relationship and knew it was going to happen. We even decided on a ring set together. Jeremy went in and bought the rings and when they were ready we went to the mall together and I left there with a ring on my hand! Lol Yeah, I told you I couldn’t wait!! We picked them up and I tried it on and I couldn’t take my engagement ring off. Real romantic right? 🙂 But that is just how I am!

Reception:

 

Our reception was a PARTY!! That is what I wanted. I wanted everyone to have fun and just relax. We had our reception at the Fair Grounds near our home. We decorated it all ourselves and it made that so personal and great. I look back on it now and I wouldn’t change a thing!! Even my grandfather got down on the dance floor – something I will never forget!

Shoes:

 I wasn’t picky with our shoes but our photographer did capture a photo of all of us ladies with pretty shoes and pretty toes! All purple!!

 

Taste:

We had an Italian buffet at our wedding. It was so yummy! And I didn’t even spill any on my dress! That was amazing!

Unique:

 I think one of the most unique things that we did was our own decorating in our reception hall. We did all of the draping, setting up and favors. It was busy the days before BUT I wouldn’t change a thing!

Vows:

Traditional all the way. Well except for us saying the “wife should serve her husband” I wasn’t saying that! Independent woman here!

Wedding Woes:

The only woe I can think of was us forgetting the disposable cameras at Jeremy’s house!! His dad drove all the way home (about 45 minutes each way) to get the box of cameras! So nice of him!!

X-rated:

Um wow, I don’t know what to write here. :O) You may kiss the bride… I was so shy about this for some reason. I don’t know why but the PDA is something that I still cannot handle! Lol I looked through pictures and I cannot find a kissing picture – I know right, sad!! :o(

Zzzz:

Our wedding was a whole day affair so the next day we slept a lot at the bed and breakfast we were staying at. It was a great Sunday of sleeping, relaxing, remembering our wonderful wedding day and enjoying our honeymoon.
