Something new around here!
From now on, most of my Wednesday posts will be about getting my arse back into shape – or at least some sort of update on me and my health.
I am linking up with Shannon at The Family Szem – if you are interested in staying motivated, helping others, or losing weight – make sure you link up too!
Today is a new beginning for me. I am starting over. If you are a long time reader you know that I constantly struggle with losing weight, working out and eating healthy. I have tried a lot of diets and work outs but basically I give up. Well this time I am going to start with smaller goals.
My first goal is…
Working out at least 3 times a week for at least 30 minutes.
What I need to do this:
Energy!! By the time I get home from work, cook/eat dinner and then play with Jude until bedtime I am tired. I just want to sit on the couch and veg but this isn’t healthy for me or my family. Instead of sitting for an hour and a half after Jude goes to bed I will ride the stationary bike for 30 minutes! Easy enough right?
I am hoping it will become a routine!
Updates to follow!!

You can do it!!! We need to start using our stationary bike too!
Good for you! It is a total pain in the butt (literally) at the time, but remember it's only an hour and a half a week total- not bad when you think of it that way!
Once you go to the gym/fit it into your schedule, it becomes easier and easier! I find weekends during O's naptime, or after he's gone to bed throughout the week the best times to go to the gym!
Psst… passed along a Versatile Blogger Award to you. Read my post to see how to claim your badge!! 🙂

You may also want to check out any Julian Michaels DVD, they are great. And she has a lot that are only 30 minutes or less. You can also check them out at the library!
I just started the same. On Saturday, I couldn't pry my rings off my fingers during my nail appointment. After a few days of staying true to portion sizes and food types, I can get my rings off again. Jeans are still a bit tight, though. Baby steps, right!?!?
