It is Thursday which means it is time for a post that helps all of us women save money!
Please visit Sweet Stella’s and Baby Shmizz and link up your posts!
We all need tips to save some $$$!

She Works Hard For The Money (SWH4T$) Hostesses:
  Sweet Stella’s
Baby Shmizz
You all know that I am on Weight Watchers (down 9.8 pounds!) so we have been using some new recipes from the Weight Watchers Power Foods cookbook.  I want to share a recipe with you that we were really pleased with.
I know for us most of our money gets wasted on going out to dinner so we have been trying really hard to stay at home and cook!  So far we have been good!  YAY us!
Turkey Burgers with Cucumber-Yogurt Sauce
Serves 4
20 minutes
Needs:
1 pound of ground lean turkey
1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint
2 teaspoons minced peeled fresh ginger
1 garlic clove, minced
2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon of paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup plain fat-free yogurt
1/4 English cucumber
4 whole wheat hamburger buns
4 think slices of tomato
1 cup mixed baby lettuce
1 cucumber, halved crosswise and thinly sliced
1.  Combine, turkey, mint, ginger, garlic, cumin, paprika and salt into bowl.  With damp hands, shape mixture into 4 burger patties.
Photobucket
2.  Grill those burgers!
3.  To make sauce:  stir together yogurt and cucumber in small bowl.  Making a relish.
4.  Place burgers in buns and top evenly with tomato slices, baby lettuce, cucumber slices and sauce.
Photobucket
Finished meal!  YUM!!
The burger patty and sauce = 8 points on Weight Watchers
The Buns I had in the house = 4 points
Veggie Chips = 4 points
So this meal was 16 points, a little high.  But so worth it when you want a burger!

Sounds good, I just can't get on board with the ground turkey. =( I guess lean ground beef is my guilty pleasure". I limit my ground beef to no more than once or twice a week though.
