I am so very excited to write this review and introduce you to Suzanne Barston – THE Fearless Formula Feeder.
A woman who has brought comfort, support, love and education to those that need/want to formula feed their little ones.
Suzanne decided to branch out from her blog and write a book all about Bottles, Boobs, Breast milk  Formula and the number one “mommy war” that has been brought onto the women of our society.
“How the way we feed babies has come to define motherhood and why it shouldn’t” – Suzanne Barston
If you are a long time reader of my blog you know that I consider myself a Fearless Formula Feeder {okay, maybe not so fearless!}
To start here are both my accounts of feeding:

Jude’s Story
Teagan’s Story

When I first found Suzanne’s blog I was thrilled.  It made me feel normal and supported.  This is how her book Bottled Up also makes me feel.  I started reading her book when I was still pregnant with Teagan.  I sat on the couch grasping onto each word she wrote – knowing that no matter what happened with Teagan it was my choice on how to feed by beautiful daughter.
I really believe that this book will help any woman that feels like a failure for using formula see that YES there are logical, nutritional, mental, emotional and physical reasons that formula might be BEST for your baby.  But more importantly I believe ANY woman would benefit from reading this book because it COULD help the worst and most painful “Mommy War” known to society.
I have shared that I do support breastfeeding – but mostly I support SUPPORTING other mothers.  Motherhood is hard – Suzanne points this out too – so why should we make it any harder on anyone?  This book is so informative on formula feeding and why it is given such a harsh light.  The information that you leave with when you finish this book is nothing that you learn in your parenting/breastfeeding classes.  This is real. It is a life that Suzanne lived and knows that more woman need to feel accepted and OKAY for what nipple they use.
Overall, I just wish I had this book before I had Jude – it would have saved me and my family some long hard weeks of pain and guilt.
Thank you Suzanne for the amazing work you do for moms!

    Get out of town! I really want to read this book!!!! I had my daughter 10 months ago and I have felt so bullied for exclusively formula feeding her. Thank you for making me feel "normal"!!!

    I would totally keep this for myself. Then maybe after I've read it 2 or 3 times, then I would pass it on to another friend. I actually have one in mind, who's going through some of the same things I did when my baby was a newborn.
