Time for a little update on our Transitioning to a Crib adventure. I post in January about my thoughts, worries and hopes of this transition and I have to say I am proud. So proud of us, proud of Jude and proud of Teagan. Pretty much we rock as a family.
We have been blessed with 2 amazing sleepers. Let me tell you about our normal nights.
Our Schedule:
Jude goes down for bed at 8pm. After the 3rd time of asking for a drink of water he is usually asleep by 8:30pm – you know that book “ Go the F to Sleep?” Yeah I repeat that book to myself every evening!! ;o)
From 8pm-10pm Teagan either kicks and moves on her play mat or falls asleep on daddy. Usually some of both.
10pm we all go upstairs to get ready for bed. Teagan gets changed and swaddled and then takes a bottle – usually 4-5 ounces.
By 10:30pm we sneak into the bedroom with her and PRAY that she stays asleep as we walk out.
Some nights Jude wakes up once just to see us or for water. Some nights Teagan wakes up around 2am for a small bottle but usually goes right back into her crib!
Then there are nights like last night, which I am so thankful for due to Jeremy being admitted to the hospital for an infection overnight. Teagan and Jude slept through the night! I had to wake them both up at 6:30am this morning to get ready to go!!
Seriously! So happy with our sleeping situation and I hope it stays this “easy”. And now we wait for the teething…oy!!
Also – for your viewing pleasure – a picture of our little lady on her first St. Patrick’s Day!!
PS – she has a jean skirt on!! How freaking adorable is that???

So so happy that the transition has gone well! Yay for good sleepers!
Sleeping through the night + crib is great!
