This is THE Cabin.
Jeremy’s Grandparent’s built this cabin 40ish years ago.  Jeremy’s mother helped as a child.  This cabin is special to our whole family and we are so blessed to be able to share it with Jude and Teagan.
The cabin is in Leadville Colorado.  It is small but perfect.  This was the first time we have been at the cabin since Jude was about 14 months old – he didn’t remember it of course.  So the weekend was fun but not as RELAXING as it used to be when it was just us.  We will take the crazy 3 year old and wild 9 month old over that R&R any day though!

Jude fishing with Daddy on the dock.  This is Home Lake, it is literally steps from the cabin.  Amazing.

Teagan and Jude on the porch swing.  In a couple of years these kiddos are going to never want to leave this place!  So much to explore!

Be Still My Heart.
Just enjoying the cabin and family.

Teagan watching her Daddy and Big Brother fish.  She wanted out of that pack and play so badly!!

WOW!!  Look what they caught!!  Probably the biggest fish Jeremy has caught in years!!  Proud boys!

Taking a hike to another lake.  Beautiful evening walk.

My kiddos.  We had a great time just skipping rocks and looking at the water. We tried finding Oscar the Moose but he was no where to be found.
Never mind the bad hair day, no showers at our cabin!  😉

Jeremy and his mountain girl.  She loved the wind in her hair.

Settling in for the evening.  Reading, cuddling and watching a movie.
So maybe there were tantrums and nap strikes – but it doesn’t matter.  Family get-a-ways are so special.
