We had A Day Out With Thomas at The Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden Colorado today.
We wondered if we were going to even get to see Thomas due to the crazy rain storms and flooding all over Colorado but we braved the rain and wind and set out to see the cheeky Thomas the Train.
Jude was of course so excited to see this special engine again.

This is the second time we have visited Thomas at the Colorado Railroad Museum. It was a great time again…even with the gloomy weather! As usual all of the staff and volunteers at the museum were great hosts. I really do love that they all make sure to play the part of the childhood magic that Thomas holds. Very special!
We met the conductor and had a great time learning all about trains.
Mommy and Jude counting down the minutes until Thomas was ready to leave the station. This little boy was very excited to get going!!
Our family…missing Teagan due to the crazy weather she stayed with my parents.
When you visit Thomas you not only get to take a ride on him but you get to do all the other activities around the museum. Including a giant tent full of Thomas the Train – train tables!!! This kid could have stayed for days!! There was also a Petting Zoo, temporary tattoos, yummy food, a huge garden train display with Percy and Thomas, Sir Top-ham Hat visits (although he was “sick” when we were there ): ) and coloring!
Even though it was a chilly Colorado afternoon we were there for over 2 hours! A great afternoon with our little Thomas and Friends buddy.
Don’t forget to visit Colorado Railroad Museum for A Day Out With Thomas!! He is here in Golden for the next 2 weekends! Tickets are still available! I promise (even with rain) you and your family will have a great time full of memories with Thomas!

I'm taking my 4 y/o nephew in a couple of weeks. He doesn't know that we are going yet and I can't wait to see his face when I tell him! It should be loads of fun!
My dad in-law stopped at that museum when he was in CO!
Looks like Jude had a blast…I hope we can bring Paige next year when Thomas comes back 🙂
