We are on a budget in this house for Christmas gifts this year. I decided that I would try to make all of our gifts that we would be giving to family and friends this year. I want things to be more personal and more original – which also meant I needed some ideas.

I remember making the bird feeders as a kid – good ideas!
I've made all kinds of things over the years – sweaters, socks, aprons, fabric flower headbands, fleece mittens, giant gingerbread people decorated to look like the person, dresses, etc.
