Week One of Elf on the Shelf has come and gone. Peppermint has been introduced to our family and he is making sure Jude remembers to be GOOD!
While Jude hasn’t totally bought into the whole Elf on the Shelf idea I do think that he is getting more into it every morning when he sees that Peppermint has moved again.
He does remind us that “Peppermint is just plastic so he cannot talk to Santa!” Um okay kid. ;o)
Ready to see the adventures of Peppermint for Week ONE of Elf on the Shelf in our home?
Peppermint brought one of Jude’s favorite treats (Peeps) and a letter introducing himself on the first night. He simply sat on our couch all day…Jude did really great and resisted touching him!
Day 2 – We just didn’t have the creative bug that night…so Peppermint just hung out on the picture frames.
Peppermint thanked Jude for his hard work in decorating for Christmas the day after we put up our tree. Peppermint gazed at the tree all day long!
Peppermint found some cupcakes…Yummy! Ooops he got some on his face. Jude was very worried about cleaning his face. We told him Santa would tell Peppermint about the frosting!
Peppermint found a princess chair from Teagan’s princess castle and found a good book. Don’t forget the meaning of Christmas!
Bath Night!! Peppermint found some rubber duckies too! Elves only take Marshmallow baths!
Peppermint decided to go for a sled ride with a snowman! Oh and brought a gift! Elf on the Shelf DVD. Jude was beyond excited to watch this! Maybe it will help him understand the magic!
Here is our Week 1 ideas:
Week 2 has begun!
I am worried about coming up with ideas so please share yours!! It is hard to do anything that leaves him out in the open because Teagan will grab him!
How is your Elf doing so far?
What has been your favorite “Elf Come Back”?

Love the cupcakes picture…Peppermint is an ornery little elf for sure. Sharing the cupcake pic on my Facebook.
Love the marshmallow picture. Too cute.
Cute! I like the chalkboard note, good idea! Does he love the movie? Lennox has watched it about 20 times so far this season – honestly, I kind of love it too!
What a cute idea! The marshmallow picture is definitely my favorite xx
