Recently, Jeremy and I were able to escape the realities of parenthood for a night so we decided we wanted to stay in a downtown Denver Hotel after my work party.  When I first started thinking about what hotel we should visit I immediately knew that The Curtis Hotel was the place we had to go.  I had only heard great things about this hotel – and we were super excited to check out all of the fun extras that The Curtis has to offer.  
When you first walk in to The Curtis you know you are in for some fun.  The music, the decor, the lights, the staff and the games welcome you with open arms!  Not to mention that every guest gets a fresh baked cookie when they check in!  YUM!!  
We got to stay in a corner King Suite – it was amazing. The hotel is clean and well taken care of.  The room was perfect for us to escape and enjoy an extended Date Night.  Perfection!

Sweet Dreams and Cookies – well hello sweet rest and relaxation!

This lovely King Size bed was amazing for a great nights rest.  While the room itself was pretty traditional all the extras that were found around the hotel makes this hotel a spot to visit for every age.

The decor on the first floor is like a museum.  A floor of nostalgia and fun for everyone.  Godzilla, dominoes and board games!   After we checked in and got settled into our room we took some time to look around.  The art work and themes all over the hotel made us laugh and have fun.  We say kids playing board games in the lobby and this warmed my heart…no video games or TVs just Monopoly!  How great is that?

Every floor in The Curtis Hotel is themed with something fun; floors with personality!  TV Mania Floor, Game Show Floor, One Hit Wonders, Chick Flicks and our floor Horror Movie Floor!  That’s right, we were on the 13th floor for the night!

While you ride the elevator to your room you get greeted at your floor with a special message.  Here was our message on the 13th floor!

After we came back from my work party we opened our room and found this treat!  HA!

What a great night and a great hotel.  We left the our Date Night relaxed and rejuvenated.  I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Denver or for anyone who wants a fun night away from home.  Bring the kids and bring friends, this is a place for fun for all ages.
