Game Time Football Party Food made easy with Nestle

I don’t know about you but I feel like it must be Football season? {sarcasm}  Of course it is football season which means it is Football Party season!  In the coming weeks I know a lot of us will be planing a Football Party for the Big Game.  I know we are and that means that it is time for the host or hostess of the party to enjoy the party too!  I love hosting Football Parties but I do not like missing the action just because I am in the kitchen.  With the help of Walmart and Nestle I have found the easiest way make my Football Party a Touchdown with out missing the party!

Walmart has everything you need for a one stop shop in preparation for your Football Party.  They even have some great Football Party supplies to decorate your spread.  Perfect and easy!  I was able to find an appetizer, two main meal choices and dessert!  Nom Nom!!!

Check out my easy appetizers using Hot Pockets.  These were a hit with everyone.  I simply heated up some yummy Hot Pockets and cut them into bit size pieces.  Then used the adorable mini football tooth picks to make these special treats dip-able.  I added some Ranch dressing for the dip.  Usually I find myself working constantly in the kitchen but these were so simple to keep up with and my guests really enjoyed them while we waited for the main meal!

I knew that we had to have pizza at our Football Party so I picked up a couple DiGiorno Pizzas to throw in the oven.  The best part…the pizzas needed the oven to be the same temperature as the Party Lasagna I was baking too!  How much easier could they  have made it for me?   I also have to tell you – I was asked that question, you know the question that the commercials for DiGiorno always run?  “Is it delivery?”  NOPE!  I actually had to answer THAT question!  Score DiGiorno!!

Most people wouldn’t think that Lasagna is a good Game Time item but you are so wrong!  This was a hit.  With the Party Size Stouffers Lasagna I was able to serve a ton of people great food.  I simply put the Lasagna in the oven before anyone showed up because it is a dish that takes a while to cook, then when it was Game Time it was ready to serve up with the DiGiorno Pizza.

At half time I busted out the dessert.  No prep for these goodies!!  When I saw the Dreyer’s Touchdown Sundae at Walmart I had a hard time not opening that up before the party.  How perfect is this ice cream for a Football Party?  Yummy caramel and chocolate swirled vanilla ice cream with mini chocolate covered caramel footballs!!  The kids loved this.  I also had the Nestle Crunch Dipped Drumsticks for dessert.  These were actually a hit with the adults.  I had so many people comment about how they hadn’t had one of these in so long that they forgot how great they were.  Maybe those drumsticks brought some nostalgia to the party!

My Football Party was a success and guess what – I didn’t break a sweat!  Boom – Touchdown!!  Most of you know that I live in Colorado…we will be recreating this party again in a couple of weeks for The Big Game!  I won’t mention who we are rooting for but I am sure you have an idea!
