Week 9 Updates:

Hard to believe that I have been on this rocky journey for 9 weeks!  But it is true.  Last week I recommitted myself and in doing so I lost 1 pound!  While it isn’t a TON I felt a huge relief when I stepped on the scale and saw the numbers go down.  This puts me at a total loss of 16 pounds!  YES!!  
Recently, I have been craving cookies!  GIVE ME ALL THE COOKIES!  So I decided to turn the Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal, that I have a horrible time eating even though I adore oatmeal, into cookies! Yes, cookies!  This recipe is super easy and I make enough for 4 meals (4 packets of Oatmeal) and separate them into ziplock bags for easy meal options on the go!

Medifast Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Cookie Recipe:


Ingredients:
4 packets of Medifast Oatmeal
1 tsp cinnamon
9 packets of Splenda 
1 1/4 cup cold water
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
1.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Spray large cookie sheet with cooking spray. 
2.  In a large mixing bowl combine all ingredients.  Mix well!

3.  Let mixture sit for 8 minutes.  

4.  Spoon mixture into 12 cookies on the cookie sheet.  That equals 3 cookies per meal.  
5.  Bake for 12 minutes. 
6.  Let cool before putting cookies into ziplock bags.  I keep my cookies in the refrigerator until eating.

Upcoming Worries:
My very best friend and her husband are moving to Colorado this weekend.  It is going to be a crazy weekend of helping them move in and we also have 2 BBQ’s to attend!  Yikes.  I will be focusing on my water intake!!  This week at work I have been trying to drink more water and it has helped me stay focused and feel full.  That is so important while at work so I am hoping I can use that trick this weekend as well.

Goals:
WATER!  WATER! WATER!!  I feel so much better when I drink more water.  The bloat goes away and the munchies disappear too!  


Weight Loss:

Month 1 (-9, -2, -1, -2)
Month 2 (-1, 0, 0, 0)
Month 3 (-1,
Total Weight Lost = 16 pounds


GOALS:

Goal 1 – To make Medifast a new habit (21 days!)  Started the program on  7/20/2014 – stay on plan until 8/10/2014!!  COMPLETED!!
Goal 2 – 20 pounds gone
Goal 3 – 30 pounds gone
Goal 4 – 50 pounds gone
Goal 5 -60 pounds gone
