Make Your Own Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub
Call me Miss DIY! Something crazy has come over me, I am constantly thinking of great DIY projects that are not only easy to do but can easily be turned into something I can use as a great DIY birthday or Christmas gift.
It is no surprise, I love Fall! You all have been reading all kinds of posts recently about my love for Fall and this one is no different! I am bringing the scent and flavors of Fall to your hands! Or should I say, Dessert for your Hands? I love going into spas and enjoying the sugar scrubs so I started thinking about how brown sugar can easily be turned into something perfect for fall.
This Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub is a perfect addition to your bathroom sink for any Fall gatherings. Every one knows it is fall when the Pumpkin Spice comes out so lets also enjoy it while washing your hands! Leave this in your bathroom and your guests will leave with soft and lovely smelling hands.
Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub
Ingredients Needed:
2 cups Brown Sugar
1/2 cup White Sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
1 tsp Nutmeg
1/2 cup Coconut Oil (or Almond Oil)
1/2 cup White Sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
1 tsp Nutmeg
1/2 cup Coconut Oil (or Almond Oil)
Instructions:
1. In a medium bowl combine all of the dry ingredients – sugars and spices.
2. Slowly pour in the Oil and stir well until blended. The dry ingredients should be coated. If you need more moisture add another Tablespoon of oil as needed.
3. Keep in an airtight container. This mixture needs to be stored in the refrigerator for up to 8 weeks.
