Littleton Street Lighting #Colorado Tradition – Welcome Christmas

Every Black Friday we continue on of Jeremy’s family traditions of going to the Littleton Street Lighting event in downtown Littleton Colorado.  Jeremy did this with his family growing up and it always symbolized the beginning of Christmas.  We took Jude when he was just 5 months old and we have continued going since then.

To make this event even more kid friendly, they close Main Street to allow us to explore freely with out the worry of cars.  However, we did have to stop at this pretty cool firetruck.  Jude is still set on being a Fireman when he grows up so he loves seeing real firemen!

I am not one for buying a treat every time we go to an event BUT we always over pay for these fun light toys at every Littleton Street Lighting.  It makes the wait so much easier plus it looks cool!  😉

This year we were super lucky because the weather was beautiful!  We were not freezing while we waited for Santa to come light the street lights.  This year we were lucky enough to have our friends Lauren and Jared with us.  We waited patiently for Santa to make his arrival and when he lit the lights it was so cute to see the awe in Teagan and Jude’s eyes.  These kids are in the perfect Christmas Magic ages.  I love it!

Here comes Santa!  Jude and Teagan both got great views!  Such a fun night!

Do you and your family have any special kick off to Christmas traditions?

What a fun tradition! I love seeing the Christmas lights, and can't wait for our own tree lighting here (this week!)
