This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of CarMax for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

A couple days ago I introduced you all to CarMax and last week we had the opportunity to go to our local CarMax location and meet with a great consultant named Jim. Due to no childcare, we had Jude and Teagan with us and frankly, as I walked in to CarMax I was nervous about how this visit would go, but as you will read below all 4 of us had a great time!
We had an appointment with Jim and he was available the moment we walked in the door. My first thoughts as we walked into CarMax was how bright, modern and welcoming the showroom was. I felt comfortable – and that is really important when you are in the car market.
At CarMax your car buying experience should be very straight forward – even the giant signage tells you your steps.
Sell Your Car. Find Your Car. Buy Your Car.

Simple yet it all makes sense. I guess that is why CarMax is America’s #1 used car retailer – and lucky for all of us Colorado folk, we have multiple locations to choose from. However, our consultant Jim told us that his dealership has the best view of the front range mountains so make sure you stop in at the Federal Height location just for the view! 😉
While we introduced ourselves to some of the CarMax team members, we also got settled in – well Jude and Teagan did. They did so great but even when they got bored, Jim interacted with them and totally understood the parenting aspect of looking for and buying a new car. One thing that we talked about was, thanks to CarMax’s easy-to-navigate website, parents like us who cannot spend half a day in a car dealership with kids in tow can do a lot of research online before walking into CarMax. In fact, if you find a car that you are interested in and you want to test drive, simply fill out the form online and set up an appointment, and BOOM that car will be waiting for you. Jim informed us that you could potentially walk out with a new car in less than 3 hours!
So not only are you dealing with great consultants who will not hassle you, but you won’t have to stay at the dealership ALL day long! CarMax intentionally entered the used car industry to combat its lack of integrity and to provide customers with honest and transparent experience that we all deserve!
While we did bring our own tablets to keep the kiddos happy during our meeting – CarMax has a special Kids Corner with toys, paper and crayons and TV. Something to really help us parents when we are in the car buying experience.
We took a trip out to the car lot and I was really surprised at the number of cars that were available but also the quality of cars. All kinds of brands, types and years available but all of them looked well kept and ready for a new home. CarMax has over 35,000 used cars in its nationwide inventory so I know we could find a car that fits us perfectly! Jude and Teagan had a lot of fun test driving cars too! So cute! I must say, we found a great car that we are interested in and were very surprised at the price. Totally in our price range and it was a 2014 – used but certainly new enough for us. Something that has us really considering heading back to Jim at our local CarMax.
Overall we were so impressed with our CarMax visit. I hope that when you are in the car buying market you consider stopping at your local CarMax!

A few years ago we bought a new card and my kids spent some quality time in that kids room. We ended up getting a quote and using it somewhere else.

I could write a whole commercial for them! I know everything there is to know about carmax and wouldn't go anywhere else to sell a car with ease and get the best price. I love dealing with my local carmax. They are great!

It seems as if this is a nice way to go shopping for a car and to have the entire family be comfortable and feel good about the process.

I love that they have a kids area. I remember car hunting with my two kids and it was so hard to focus and keep them occupied.

I also love that they have a kiddie corner. We have purchased a few vehicles and that area has come in handy.

It sounds like a nice visit. When I purchase a car I will definitely check them out first.
