Have you decorated your door for Valentine’s Day yet? Once I took down all of the Christmas decorations I felt like our house was boring and sad, so I knew it was time to get my Valentine’s Day decorations out. I love door wreaths and I had not made one for Valentine’s Day so my BFF and I went shopping one night and boom this idea was created.
Create A Valentine’s Day Door Wreath
Vintage Picture Frame Valentine’s Day Wreath
Pretty right? Original right? Fun right? EASY too!! We saw this wooden frame and instantly we knew it would be beautiful on the front door.
Materials:
Wooden decorative picture frame
Red spray paint
Ribbon
Cloth heart ornaments
Hot glue
Directions:
1. Spray the wood frame with spray paint, we did 2 coats, do this in a well ventilated area. Let dry completely.
2. Once dry, string ribbon from the top of the frame to the bottom of the frame and secure with hot glue. I did 3 rows. Be creative.
3. Hot glue heart ornaments onto the ribbon. Again, be creative with your placement.
4. Let hot glue dry.
5. Using ribbon, make a hanger for the wreath.
I am so glad we stepped outside of the wreath and went for something completely different. I find this wreath cute yet sophisticated with the vintage frame look. I love it!! Also, it really is easy and fast to make.

This is beautiful! I would love to make this with the kids and I can imagine doing one for St. Patricks Day as well.
I mean obviously I love this! I used the same wooden frame to make a mirror for Emberlynns Room last year.
This is such a cute idea. Nope I have not made my Valentine's wreath – that sounds like a great project this weekend.
