Easter is just around the corner, don’t you love the great desserts, traditions, and colors of this time of the year? It is my favorite! This Easter we will be traveling to Arizona to visit Jeremy’s parents so our traditions will be changing a little bit and I am excited to see what new traditions are created.
Instead of doing our usual Saturday morning Easter Egg Hunt the weekend before Easter, we decided we would leave the hunting fun for when we were at Grandmas so I decided to treat the kids to something fun last weekend. I totally let my kids have pudding for breakfast and it was PERFECT! (Mom of the Year!!) I made a cute Easter Pudding Cup Topping Bar!!
Now, before you roast me let me just give you a little insight to my justification of letting them eat pudding for breakfast. I picked up some Super Snack Pack Pudding – SUPER as in bigger and full of the delicious Snack Pack Pudding we all love. But did you know that one snack pack contains the same amount of calcium as an 8 oz glass of milk – that equals a Mom For The Win in my book. So not only did I provide Jude and Teagan with some fun Easter treats for breakfast but I also made sure they got some calcium in their meal.
Of course this is not a normal thing in our household and for the most part we would only use this Easter Pudding Cup Toppings Bar as an easy to make dessert option but sometimes us Moms like to bend the rules.
Our Easter Pudding Cup Toppings Bar was packed full of goodies. I made sure I picked up both of the flavors available in the Super Snack Pack Pudding cups because you never know what flavor the kiddos will enjoy – Chocolate or Vanilla?
I found some adorable little cups to fill full of some great Snack Pack Mixins and of course some Reddi Wip. Some of the other toppings that I used were Jelly Beans, Confetti Sprinkles, Duck shaped sprinkles, Mini Golden Oreo cookies, Candy Coated Easter Eggs, Crushed Nilla Wafers, and crushed Oreo cookies! Yum Yum Yum!
Once I had the Pudding Cup Bar all set up and surprised the kids with their treats. They each got to choose which flavor of Snack Pack to top, Jude decided on Vanilla and Teagan was loving the Chocolate. With the new Easy Open Lids they were both able to open up those Snack Packs and get to mixin’! It was so fun to see the creations that they decided on.
As I was watching the kids fill up their Super Snack Pack Pudding Cups I was thinking about how fun this idea would be for a birthday party. It would be a great way to allow kids and even adults create a yummy pudding creation that is personalized. I have talked a lot about the “Bar Trend” and have even shown you some of my favorites – Pizza Bar, Mashed Potato Bar, Candy Bar, ect. This Pudding Cup Bar is now on the top of my list and I am thinking of having one of these set ups for Jude’s upcoming birthday party! Such a great idea and really fun to experience with kids.
I will always remember these fun memories with my kiddos and I hope they do too. Something as simple as a pudding cup was turned into a project full of messy memories!
You can find the Super Snack Pack 6 packs of both Vanilla and Chocolate at Walmart and before you run out to the store make sure you clip the coupon available on Walmart.com. You will save money on these yummy treats! I was able to find everything for our Easter Pudding Cup Bar at Walmart as well. One stop shop that will help you create some memories and yummy treats.
Well now that I have confessed that I let my kids eat pudding cups for breakfast tell me – would your kids love to create their own #SnackPackMixIns?

I absolutely love this idea, and as soon as I saw it, I thought of many ways to adapt it to lots of festive occasions! This is not just good for kids, adults would love it too and one could use as many or as few toppings as desired. You cold dress this up and make it fancy or keep it colorful and fun…the options are almost endless, and so are the combinations of toppings!
Loving this idea and the kids just love this pudding. Glad they made it bigger. Even more to eat!
I need to set this up for Easter! That is such a smart idea for a cute dessert for the family!
I think this is an amazing idea! Dessert for breakfast on holidays with sneaky nutrients is *always* a mom win! This turned out so cute and I love that it was special but also something they could pick and choose themselvses (a must with kids, I know!) #client
