Teagan’s First Movie – HOME

Last weekend we took a family trip to the movies, it was a special trip because it was Teagan’s first trip to the movie theater!  Such a fun afternoon – well besides the insane prices!  HA!  It has been explained to both kids that the movie theater is for VERY special visits and will not happen all the time!  I am sure you all can relate!

So for Teagan’s first movie we decided on the new release called Home.  Every time she would see a preview for this movie she would get so excited and ask to see Home.  She is about 6 months younger than Jude was when he saw his first movie but we went for it, took a chance and it worked!  She did great!

Because Home was a new movie we even got to experience waiting in line for our seat.  Teagan held on to her ticket like a pro, in fact she held that ticket tight all through the movie!  So cute!

For the most part she sat the whole movie, we did sit in the front row so she could get up up and stand and dance if she needed too.  She did it a couple of times but really did well the whole movie.  Oh and she picked M&Ms as her movie snack.  Good choice kid!

This sassy pants had a great time and the movie was so cute!  A must see for sure.  She was one happy little girl and we all had a great time.  Jude thought it was cool that Teagan got to come with us.  Fun family day at the movies!

What was the first movie your kids went to?

We caught this last week too and Emberlynn literally sat right through it. She does great in theaters and we go all the time with the kids. She loved the knock knock cow joke and its on repeat lately!

Haven't seen this movie yet – but it looks cute
Totally understand that movie theater treats are a sometimes event. We spend $40 on soda & popcorn

I honestly do not remember what the first movie my kids saw. My son has special needs and he was older. It is still hard for him to sit though n entire movie.

It was sweet hat you got to see this movie with your baby. I remember when we took our 19 year old to her first movie – 101 Dalmations. It was a wonderful time.

I remember taking my oldest to see the Curious George movie. She was too young and we were walking around half the time. We just saw Home this past weekend and my girls loved it.

We haven't taken my toddler to the movies yet. I worry about that! I wonder how he would behave!
