We are a baseball loving family, heading to the ball park in Denver is one of our favorite things to do in the summertime. Once the weather turns nice we back up our bag and head to Coors Field for some Colorado Rockies fun! I won’t lie, these ballpark trips come with big price tags but we have found ways to cut down on the spending. One way we do that is by bringing some of our own snacks and treats.
Jeremy is a big Oreo lover so when I found the NEW OREO 2-pack snacks I knew that these would really come in handy for trips to the park, swimming, and even to the Colorado Rockies game. When I packed up our back pack I put a pack of these in the bag for Jeremy and I – Mom and Dad’s game treat – along with other snacks and juice for the kiddos.
This is really the best way to save money when heading to the game. Other tips would be to bring your own water, buy the cheap seats and park in a small lot and take a walk to the game instead of parking in the main lot.
These new Oreo 2 packs come in 18 pack boxes and can be found at your local grocery. Perfect for Oreo and Chocolate lovers but for those of you that enjoy peanut butter better you can also find the 2 packs in the Nutter Butter brand as well! Perfect!
Jeremy was ready for a great day at the ballpark! His favorites right there with him – family, Oreo Cookies and baseball! Go Rockies!!! I simply love these snack packs because they are the perfect serving size and so convenient when we are packing snacks for an outing.
Jeremy has even been packing these Oreo 2 packs in his lunch. Helps him bite that afternoon chocolate craving with a perfectly sized pack of goodness. As the kids get older I know that these will be great desserts for them to enjoy in their school lunches as well. Moderation is key when enjoying desserts and thanks to these super easy 2 packs we can now keep that snacking to the perfect serving size.
We had a great family trip to the ballpark and with our money saving tips we know we can go another time this summer as well. Pack those snacks, bring your own water, cheap seats are best and go for a walk from the parking lot! Happy baseball season!!
