Cleaning floors is one of my least favorite chores to do – maybe because it seems like it is a never-ending chore. Recently, I introduced you to my new favorite cleaning item in my cleaning closet – the EasyWring Spin Mop & Bucket System from O-Cedar. Amazing does not cut it. Now, back to my dislike of floor cleaning. Another reason I never want to mop our floors is I am not a fan of putting chemicals on the space that our kids play. Well, a 2 year old and 5 year old’s space to play is the floor…we need a chemical-free, all-natural floor cleaning option.

After some research and experience using my EasyWring Spin Mop I have come up with my own DIY All-Natural Floor Cleaner that gives me one less excuse for not wanting to mop our floors. This super easy formula not only cleans the floors well, but it has a fresh scent and is free of chemicals!

DIY All Natural Floor Cleaner

All Natural Floor Cleaner, Make your own floor cleaner, lemon floor cleaner, Chemical free floor cleaner, hardwood floor cleaner, EasyWring Spin Mop & Bucket System, O-Cedar Products, EasyWring Spin Mop
Materials Needed:
2 cups water
1 cup vinegar
15 drops Lemon Essential Oil
All Natural Floor Cleaner, Make your own floor cleaner, lemon floor cleaner, Chemical free floor cleaner, hardwood floor cleaner, EasyWring Spin Mop & Bucket System, O-Cedar Products, EasyWring Spin Mop
Directions:
1.  Find a container to mix the floor cleaner in.  I usually make 2 batches at a time.  The materials listed create ONE batch.  Double or triple for larger spaces.
2.  Combine water and vinegar in the container – mix/stir well.
3.  Add 15 drops lemon essential oil into water/vinegar mixture.  Stir well.
4.  Pour all natural floor cleaner into the EasyWring Spin Mop bucket and you are now ready to clean those well loved floors chemical free!

While the mixture doesn’t seem like a lot of cleaner you will be surprised how far it goes.  Using the EasyWring Spin Mop & Bucket System from O-Cedar keeps me from wasting my cleaner.  No excess when cleaning all those floors.  When I started using this all natural cleaner, I got so many compliments from visitors on how fresh our home smelled.  I call that a successful floor cleaner!

O-Cedar wants you to try the EasyWring Spin Mop & Bucket System to help you stay up on your summer chores:

The O-Cedar EasyWring Spin Mop & Bucket System has a built in wringer activated by a high quality foot pedal allowing you to control the level of moisture. Cleaning your floors has never been this much fun. The built in splash guard prevents overspray onto surrounding floors and walls, and the triangular mop head reaches into corners with deep cleaning microfiber strands to attract dirt and grime. The head is washable, and refills are also available. The telescoping handle extends to 48 inches and can collapse for easy storage. EasyWring Spin Mop & Bucket System is proudly assembled in the USA. Visit ocedar.com to learn more, or like them on Facebook.

I've been looking for a new mop. This O cedar one looks great. I also like the natural floor cleaning recipe. How long does the vinegar smell last?

It is amazing how many uses vinegar has beyond using it in cooking. I'll have to try your cleaning recipe.

I love to try natural cleaning products so I'm going to use your tips. Thanks for sharing the O-Cedar EasyWring Spin Mop & Bucket System. I have to mop all the time between the kids and the kitten and whatever else critters the kids bring in. I don't have carpet so it's all mopping for me.

Does the lemon EO downplay the vinegar scent? I so want to make this!
