Disclosure:  In return for our honest review my family and I were guests at Snow Mountain Ranch for a weekend of fun.  All opinions are our own.

In June we had the pleasure of spending a weekend a Snow Mountain Ranch YMCA in Winter Park Colorado.  We had an amazing time and cannot wait to make more memories as a family in the years to come.  To read more about our visit make sure you read this recap – Snow Mountain Ranch.

In my recap I talked about the new Summer Tubing Hill that Snow Mountain Ranch opened in 2014, I knew that I had to provide you with a post JUST about this amazing slide.  The awesome people at Snow Mountain booked us for a Saturday morning slot on the hill but after experiencing it, I politely asked for another slot the next day – seriously friends – it is THAT fun!

The Summer Tubing Hill is a great way to enjoy the thrill of a tubing hill but in the summer!  The summer tubing hill at Snow Mountain Ranch is the only one of its kind in Colorado and the Western United States and it is certainly memorable!  I am going to be honest with you all – I am NOT a thrill seeker so I was so nervous for this experience but I am so happy that I went outside of my comfort zone to enjoy it with Jude.

Here it is!   Summer 2015 is the first full season for the Summer Tubing Hill.  Be ready to get a little wet as this ride includes cooling misters along the SnowFlex surface!  And do not worry about climbing up the mountain to ride again – a quick and easy ride to the top on a magic carpet makes the experience even easier.

Jude’s age meant we were riding tandem with him – we each had our own tub but we were hooked together for the ride.  The thrill is amazing but it is really hard to explain, so thanks to the world of cell phones we were able to capture the experience of Jude going down the hill for the first time!  His face makes me so happy!!

The moment we hit the bottom of the hill he asked if we got to do it again!   I have to tell you our record – we went down the hill TEN times in one hour!  If you go, please try to beat our record!  HA!  Jeremy and I were worn out by the time ride number ten happened!

Day 2 on the hill!  Jude was a pro by this time!  He literally could have done this all day long!!

I cannot wait to take another trip to the hill soon – maybe even for the snow season.  I know the kids would love the snow tubing too.  As I stated in my original review of Snow Mountain Ranch, this is honestly the best place to head for a great mountain getaway with the family.  There is literally an activity for every age and person at the ranch.

Have you done a Tubing Hill before?
