Teagan is turning THREE in less than two months – how is that even possible? In total Teagan fashion when asked what kind of birthday party she wanted she responded – a Disney Princess Party – All of the THEM! Well okay! Challenge accepted little lady! Now, let me preface this with the fact that I am not a princess type of girl but man Teagan is really trying to change that. Give her everything pink, glitter and princess and she is happy.
Here is what we are working on for the upcoming party!
I found this adorable card from November Blue Designs on Etsy and I knew we had to have it. We are planning on inviting both boys and girls to her party so I did not want the invite to be exclude boys! If you’re a princess or a prince this is a royal event you don’t want to miss! A great phrase for a fun party for everyone!
I am using this idea from KnownKreations and going to try to replicate it with purple, pink and yellow table cloths – it will be the backdrop of the cake table! So royal!
I have always bought personalized shirts for the kid’s birthdays but for this party I knew that Teagan needed a whole outfit. I found this adorable personalized princess shirt from BabyBirthdayTee and my BFF is going to make her a fun tutu to wear with the shirt. So Teagan!
I am so excited for the food for this party! All of the food will have Princess names. This is a great example – Rapunzel’s Twizzler Braids. Some other ideas include Snow White’s Apples, Ariel’s Fish Friends, and Princess Aurora’s Crown Sandwiches. I will be making cute printable table tents as well!
The cake has to include all the princess friends! My good friend has penciled us in for this cake again. She does amazing work so I know we will end up with a cake that everyone loves! Teagan’s only request – ALL THE PRINCESSES!
Teagan’s birthday falls in a weird weather time in Colorado. It could be 90 degrees or be a blizzard and freezing – you just never know! So, we always rent a place in order to have a large enough inside venue for her parties. This means we have to have indoor activities. For this party we will be making and decorating crowns and tiaras. Love a good craft at a party!
I found a more active game to play too that will go along perfectly with the princess theme! Jeremy has agreed to make this adorable Pin a Kiss on the Frog game! I cannot wait to see what it looks like!
The one thing I am really have trouble with is the goodie bags. As I said we are inviting boys to this party too. So, how do we incorporate the Disney Princess fun into the goodie bags? I love the idea of giving items that kids will actually use – example: cups or even a craft.
I would love your ideas and tips to throwing a great Princess Birthday Party!
