I may be happily married, but I can still remember the stresses of dating. Navigating a new relationship can be a tricky beast, and finding the right present for your new guy is one of the toughest conundrums ladies in new relationships face.  It can be hard to find the right balance; you want to find a thoughtful gift, but you don’t want to overwhelm him with too much if you’re still in the early stages of your relationships. With this in mind, I’ve created a list of awesome gift ideas that the new guy in your life will appreciate for the holidays and for occasions beyond.
  1. A Traveling Man
If your fella loves to travel, or he has to do so for work, find him a gift that will make his journeys even more enjoyable. If he finds himself on planes more often than he’d like, make his travels easier. Noise canceling earphones will help him drown out the chatty Cathy on his left and the snoring old man on his right. A portable charger will help him keep all of his electronics charged during his travels (better for him to be able to text you!).
  1. For Relaxation
If he’s been stressed out lately and you’d like to give him a way to relax, look into buying him a couple’s massage. If he’s hesitant about it, he’s more likely to go if you’ll be in the room and you can create memories together while working out all of your stressed muscles. If your guy uses a vaping devices for relaxation, you have various ways to make his day. You can buy vape pens online from the comfort of your own home and have them delivered for your comfort—and his delight. There are a ton of flavors to choose from, and these things don’t even create smoke, which is especially awesome if you have children around.
  1. For the Office
If your new man is a professional and works in an office day in and day out, help him get some great décor for his work space. If your fun-loving guy gets bored during his long hours, help him out with a miniature game that will give him endless entertainment (and probably entertain his coworkers just as much). A mini pool table game will give his mind a much-needed break throughout the day, and he’ll think of you every time he plays with it—double win.
  1. The Meal of His Dreams
Finding the right gift need not be expensive. Sometimes it just takes a little time and effort. They always say the way to a guy’s heart is through his stomach. Test this theory and make him a delicious meal with all of his favorite recipes. If you have a good relationship (or any relationship at all) with his parents, call and find out one of his favorite desserts or family recipes from when he was a child. Put together the meal to give him a bit of nostalgia and a delicious night he’ll never forget. Thoughtful and inexpensive, he’s sure to love your present no matter the occasion.
  1. Make a Memory Together
What could spark romance more than a hot air balloon ride? Scared of heights? Perhaps a ride in a NASCAR racer will do. With an experience gift, you and your fella can make amazing memories together, and this will be a present he never saw coming. Experience gifts come in a variety of price points, meaning you don’t have to break the bank to find an awesome present this Christmas.
  1. Beer in the Comfort of Home
If you’ve rarely caught him out and about without a beer in his hand, then consider getting your guy a present that’s thoughtful, fun, and also kind of hilarious. An at-home brew kit with which he can concoct his own beer is sure to delight, and he’ll love bragging to his friends about the new lady in his life and her excellent choice in gifts.

If you’re currently stressing about finding the right gift for the new man in your life, use this list to make your search a lot easier. The perfect balance of thoughtful and lighthearted, these gifts are the right match for a budding relationship, and are sure to be adored your new fella.

Tell me what item on this list fits your main squeeze?

My husband is still tough to buy for and always likes to pick out his own stuff. I love the idea "doing" something, like making his favorite meal, versus finding a specific gift!

My husband is really hard to shop for.
If he likes it he will buy it so shopping for him can be tough! You have to be sneaky or hide his wallet so he doesn't ruin his own surprises. Plus with his birthday in December it's even harder!
